I printed two and bought two packs for FREE! I also used the Free Publix bag coupon for purchasing two general mills items...(I now own like 8 of these bags..so fun!)
Honey Maid Graham Crackers (on sale for $2)
Used - .50 off graham crackers (doubles to $1) received from
Kraft Food & Family Magazine (if you get it - you should it's free and has awesome recipes!)
Got this box for $1
Yoohoo chocolate 12pk (reg price 6.19)
Used - $4 off coupon found in Yellow Adv. Publix paper ( found at the front of the store)
Received for $2.19. This coupon says you have to buy 2 cases - I didn't and they still honored it.
Natures Own Granola Bars ($3.19)
Used - .40 off coupon (doubles to .80) and also used my publix coupon for $1 off fruit (got some banana's for free!). Total = 2.39 for granola bars & banana's - not bad. I use all in my fiber one yogurt!! yummy. Printed all coupons from links in southernsavers.com
Knorr Sides (B1G1 rings up at .74 each)
Printed and used .45 (doubles to .90) - received overage of .16. Of course I printed two and bought two packs of cajun rice. I purchased some smoked sausage and VOILA! DINNER for $2.
Betty Crocker Potatoes (rings up as .80 each)
Printed and used ..40 coupons on southernsavers. It doubles to .80 and makes this item FREE. I printed as many as my comp. would let me - 2. I then found one coupon in the AJC last week so I got three boxes of potatoes for free.
Well, the list goes on but just thought I'd highlight some of my fav's this week. Total I received $67 and spent $23. A savings of $44!! Next week I'll put up my plans on Wed when the ads come out and my upcoming week's menu. Leave some COMMENTS! Tell your friends!! Ask questions!! Share your stories!! Thanks for reading.

Hey Abi, I did some of the same things...thanks for letting me know about southernsavers.com! My grocery bill has really gone down! I also use a site mypoints.com, you join and you can print the same coupons as southernsavers, but you earn points for using them that you can redeem for giftcards...I have used this site for online shopping for years. This is how Larry and I get our date "days". I am going to send you an invite to the site (anyone else who wants one too...I earn points for everyone I recommend :)) Check it out and let me know what you think! It is also a great way to be able to print multiple coupons...use mypoints and southern savers you can get 4 of each!!
ReplyDeleteAbi, please tell Lisa that she can feel free to send me an invite to that site! Sounds awesome to me!!
ReplyDeleteOh, also, there are several $1/yogurt coupons at coupons.com. You can get the yogurt for $0.25 and then only end up paying 6 cents for each yogurt! Goes great in the kiddos' lunches!!
ReplyDeleteJayna, I would need your email address. You can send it to me in an email if you don't want to post your email address on here zaxbsmom@comcast.net and I will refer you!
ReplyDeleteI went to Publix yesterday and coupon shopping. Spent $93.40, but SAVED $73.87!!! How awesome is that?!?!?! Yesterday, I bought Richard a noddle meal he likes. It wasn't on sale, but it was only .79. I had a coupon for .50, they doubled it and PAID ME .21 to take the food. Pretty cool, huh?
ReplyDeleteHey Abi and other money saving friends...check out restaurant.com you can get a $25 gift card for $10. Check it out before I think Oct. 25th and enter code PUMPKIN at check out and save 70% off of the total. I just bought 4 Kegun cert. for $12!!! They are each worth $25 though!! There is a min. purchase with each rest., but for Kegun it is $45...and if you have ever eaten there before you know that it is not hard to spend that much, but still you will only spend the overage of the $25...so it is like it costing $21 less than the total price!
ReplyDeleteHey Lisa, Send me an invite to that website too. Thanks!!
